A third suspect, a 20-year-old Morristown NJ man, was also charged with sexually assaulting the nine-year-old victim. However, the suspect avoided trial by reaching a plea agreement with prosecutors. He was subsequently sentenced to four years in NJ State Prison.

The suspect is a 23-year-old man from Orange, NJ. According to Morris County authorities, the suspect was one of three people who raped the 17-year-old victim on September 4, 2011. The teen victim was reportedly drunk and going in and out of consciousness when the suspects took her to an isolated area and sexually assaulted her.

Now the suspect is headed to prison after being sentenced to a term of incarceration of 10 years. Additionally, the suspect will be required to register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law.

Newton NJ Sexual Assault LawyersA former cop with the Newton police force in Sussex County remains behind bars after being charged with sexual assault and failing to post bail.

The suspect allegedly committed the sex crime in December 2016. According to the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office, the suspect molested the young victim in the bathroom of a Burger King restaurant in Hampton, NJ.

The victim was 16 years old when the suspect reportedly committed the sexual offense.

Authorities learned about the sexual assault allegations and investigated the suspect before arresting him. He was initially taken to the Sussex County Jail, but he later got transferred to a jail in Morris County because he used to be a police officer in Sussex County.

Although the suspect’s bail amount was reduced from $200,000 to $150,000 more than a month ago, he has been unable to post bail. As a result, the suspect remains in police custody while prosecutors prepare for a grand jury hearing.

If a Sussex County NJ grand jury decides to indict the suspect on the sex crime charges, he would likely have to answer the charges at trial.

The suspect was previously employed by the Newton Police Department. He was forced to resign a couple of years ago after he pleaded guilty to charges of lewdness in connection with multiple incidents involving inappropriate traffic stops.

Rockaway NJ Sexual Molestation AttorneysA Rockaway Borough NJ resident faces criminal charges for allegedly molesting two underage boys at a shopping mall. He was recently ruled incompetent to participate in his own defense at trial without medication.

The suspect, a 35-year-old man from Rockaway Borough, allegedly committed the sexual offenses at the Rockaway Townsquare mall on August 28, 2015. He reportedly approached the two victims in mall restrooms and touched their genitals.

On September 10, 2015, the suspect allegedly attempted to kidnap another boy from a Target store located in Rockaway Borough, New Jersey. The five-year-old victim later told police that the victim threatened to cut him with a knife during the attempted kidnapping.

One day later, Rockaway NJ cops were able to locate and arrest the suspect. Detectives reportedly used surveillance video footage to determine the suspect’s identity.

The suspect faces several criminal charges, including sexual assault, child endangerment, luring, attempted kidnapping, terroristic threats, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

In September 2016, the suspect was indicted on the sex crime charges. Now the suspect is supposed to stand trial in Morris County Superior Court, but first he must be ruled competent to participate in his own defense. A superior court judge recently said that the suspect must take medication for bipolar disorder prior to the start of trial. That determination was made after a mental health evaluation by a psychiatrist.

While the suspect awaits the beginning of trial, he is in custody at the Morris County Correctional Facility in Morristown, New Jersey. He is being held at the jail in lieu of $600,000 bail.

Mount Olive Invasion of Privacy SuspectA Mount Olive man recently pleaded guilty to invasion of privacy charges for filming his sexual encounters with multiple women without first getting their consent.

The suspect, a 29-year-old Mount Olive NJ resident, was accused of secretly filming 11 adult women and one juvenile girl while having sex with them. According to authorities, the suspect used his iPhone to record the sexual encounters.

Law enforcement investigated the suspect and eventually obtained enough evidence to place him under arrest. He was charged with numerous sex crimes, including invasion of privacy and endangering the welfare of a child.

The suspect managed to avoid trial in Morris County Superior Court in Morristown by reaching a plea agreement with Morris County NJ prosecutors. He pleaded guilty to six counts of invasion of privacy, with prosecutors agreeing to drop the remaining sexual offense charges.

When the suspect appears in Morris County Superior Court next month for an official sentencing hearing, he will face one year in state prison.

The suspect is a 39-year-old resident of Hampton, New Jersey. According to authorities, he committed the sexual offense at a Burger King located in Newton, NJ.

The victim is a 16-year-old boy. He reported the sexual assault to Sussex County law enforcement, which subsequently launched an investigation into the suspect.

The suspect was later arrested and charged with multiple crimes, including sexual assault, criminal sexual contact, child endangerment, and criminal restraint.

If the suspect is ultimately convicted on the most serious charges of sexual assault, he would be subject to severe penalties. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2, sexual assault is a second degree criminal offense and carries a potential penalty of 5-10 years in NJ State Prison.

It has been reported that the suspect previously resigned from his job as a Newton police officer after he was caught exposing himself to male motorists during traffic stops. He received a sentence of two years of probation in that case, which allowed him to avoid jail time.

The suspect, a 23-year-old Dover resident, faces multiple criminal charges, including kidnapping, aggravated sexual assault, robbery, aggravated assault, and terroristic threats.

If the suspect is ultimately convicted of aggravated sexual assault, he could potentially be sentenced to as many as 20 years in NJ State Prison.

After being placed under arrest and processed, the suspect was ordered held at the Morris County Correctional Facility in Morristown, New Jersey. He was being held at the jail in lieu of $250,000 bail.

The suspect had been accused of leading the gang rape of a 17-year-old female in a vehicle parked in Morristown, NJ. According to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, the suspect and two of his friends sexually assaulted the victim while she was intoxicated on September 4, 2011. That night, the victim and her rapists were spending time together at the Lafayette Learning Center in Morristown, New Jersey.

The suspect eventually drove the victim home, but she passed out in the car because she was drunk. She later woke up to find the suspect having sex with her.

The suspect was 17 years old when he committed the rape, but he was charged as an adult for the sexual offense because a Morris County Superior Court judge waived him up from juvenile court to adult court.

The suspect was charged with aggravated sexual assault and sexual assault. At the end of his trial, the jury deliberated for less than an hour and returned a guilty verdict.

The other two suspects in the gang rape were also charged as adults. They previously pleaded guilty to charges of criminal sexual contact, which carries less severe penalties than sexual assault.

The suspect is a 23-year-old resident of Mount Olive, New Jersey. He was first placed under arrested on Thanksgiving Day after one of the underage victims came forward to authorities. The victim, a 17-year-old girl, reportedly spoke with law enforcement and said that the suspect forced her to engage in prostitution. The suspect allegedly drove the teen victim to area hotels so that she could have sex with other men for money. The suspect then allegedly kept a percentage of the cash.

The suspect was arrested in November and charged with multiple sexual offenses, including human trafficking, promoting prostitution, and child endangerment.

Now the suspect faces additional charges because police discovered another possible victim. Detectives with both the Mount Olive Police Department and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Sex Crimes/Child Endangerment Unit investigated the case and reportedly found another 17-year-old victim. The suspect allegedly drove her to Mount Olive hotels and kept part of the proceeds.

After being arrested again, the suspect was taken to the Morris County Correctional Facility in Morristown, New Jersey. He was being held at the jail in lieu of $250, 000 bail.

The suspect pleaded guilty to one count of criminal sexual contact and one count of child abuse, with Morris County prosecutors agreeing to recommend a sentence of probation.

The suspect recently appeared in Morris County Superior Court, located in Morristown NJ, for a formal sentencing hearing. The superior court judge sentenced the suspect to two years of probation and ordered her to surrender her NJ teaching license.
