Police made the DWI arrest a short time after 4:00 a.m. A Parsippany police officer was on patrol near the Parsippany Elks Lodge on Parsippany Road when he spotted a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot.

He faces charges for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and Refusal to Submit to Breath Testing.

After being placed under arrest and charged, the suspect secured his release from police custody on his own recognizance. He will be required to make an appearance in Parsippany Municipal Court at a later date to address the drunk driving charges.
