Morris Township Child Pornography LawyersA Morris Township NJ man with a role on the Morris County Board of Elections faces serious criminal charges for possession of child pornography.

According to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, the 73-year-old suspect committed the sexual offenses between January 2010 and September 2015. The suspect reportedly possessed and viewed several photos of underage children engaging in sexual acts.

Morris County Prosecutor’s Office detectives investigated the suspect and eventually obtained enough evidence to charge him with endangering the welfare of a child. Detectives served the suspect with a criminal complaint; however, he was not taken into custody by police.

The suspect was also charged with simple possession of marijuana because police allegedly found him with pot on his person while serving him with the criminal complaint.

Sometime after news of the criminal charges broke, the suspect was suspended from his position with the Morris County Board of Elections. He has served on the NJ elections board since August 2004.

The suspect, who lives in Morris Township, New Jersey, recently made an appearance in Morris County Superior Court in Morristown. The suspect entered a plea of not guilty, meaning that he will be required to return to court in February in order to address the criminal charges.
