Morristown NJ Theft AttorneysMorristown NJ law enforcement is investigating a recent burglary incident at a swimming pool.

The theft crime occurred during the late-night hours, but it was not reportedly until just after noon the following day. That’s when a worker at the Burnham Park Pool in Morristown NJ discovered the break-in and theft.

According to authorities, someone burglarized a concession stand at the swimming pool and stole an expensive cash register.

The concession stand employee talked to Morristown NJ cops and said that the cash register was emptied the night before. The stolen register reportedly has a value of around $209.

Morristown police detectives are investigating the theft, but they reportedly do not have access to any video surveillance footage because the pool does not have security cameras.

The Morris County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Section is working with the Morristown Police Department to investigate the break-in.

If law enforcement officials can eventually identify and capture the culprit, that person would probably be subject to criminal charges for burglary and theft of movable property.
