Dover NJ Man Pleads Guilty to Operating Cocaine FacilityA Dover NJ man has pleaded guilty to operating a cocaine manufacturing facility out of his home.

27-year-old Tishan Smith appeared in Morris County Superior Court and admitted that he mixed and diluted cocaine in his kitchen. Mr. Smith indicated that he used a press to break down the cocaine into smaller quantities for resale.

Mr. Smith was arrested in May, when Dover NJ police found seven (7) ounces of cocaine in his kitchen.

Under the terms of his plea agreement with prosecutors, Mr. Smith will be sentenced to ten (10) years in New Jersey State Prison. Mr. Smith will be required to serve a minimum of five (5) years of his sentence before he is eligible for parole.

The plea deal also calls for other charges against Mr. Smith to be dismissed. Those charges include cocaine distribution and concealing a loaded handgun.

In January, Mr. Smith will return to Morris County Superior Court for sentencing.
