East Hanover NJ Robbery LawyersAn East Orange man is on his way to prison for committing a robbery at a Babies-R-Us store in East Hanover, New Jersey.

The suspect is a 24-year-old resident of East Orange, NJ. He recently appeared in Morris County Superior Court in Morristown NJ for a formal sentencing hearing after pleading guilty to the armed robbery. The superior court judge sentenced the suspect to 12 years behind bars.

On July 19, 2014, the suspect held up employees at the Babies-R-Us located on Route 1 in East Hanover, NJ. He allegedly went to the Route 10 store and forced the two victims to go back inside the building after closing.

Once inside the store, the suspect pointed a handgun at the employees and ordered them to open a safe and hand over $5K in cash.

The suspect covered his face with a mask, but detectives were still able to identify and apprehend him. He now faces numerous criminal charges, including armed robbery, false imprisonment, burglary, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon.
