Police officers recently arrested four individuals who allegedly sold crack cocaine and other illegal drugs in Franklin Borough, New Jersey.
According to authorities, the suspects were engaged in an operation that distributed illicit narcotics throughout Franklin NJ, which is located in Sussex County.
As soon as law enforcement became aware of the alleged drug distribution ring, they started an investigation into the suspect. For two months, several law enforcement agencies investigated the drug network, including the Franklin Borough Police Department and the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office.
At the end of the investigation, Franklin police officers executed search warrants and apprehended the suspects at multiple locations. Police reportedly found a large amount of crack cocaine and a small amount of methadone at the suspects’ residences. Most of the illegal drugs had allegedly been packaged for distribution on the street.
One suspect arrested by police is a 35-year-old Franklin man. He has been charged with possession of crack cocaine and distribution of crack cocaine.
Another suspect apprehended by law enforcement is a 35-year-old resident of Andover, New Jersey. He faces multiple drug crime charges, including cocaine possession, cocaine distribution, and possession of amphetamine.
Two of the suspects are married and live in Hamburg, NJ. The suspects have been charged with illegal distribution of methadone. They also face child neglect charges because they reportedly used an underage child to distribute the drugs.
