Mount Olive Heroin Possession LawyersPolice in Mount Olive NJ arrested a man accused of possessing heroin in his car.

Police arrested the suspect just before midnight at the International Trade Zone, a Morris County development with offices, buildings, and hotels.

A Mount Olive NJ police officer was in the process of performing a check on businesses at the International Trade Center when he noticed a 2012 Nissan Sentra parked outside a business that was closed. The Mount Olive officer moved toward the parked vehicle and saw that the suspect was asleep inside the car.

When the police officer got close to the vehicle, he reportedly saw several drug-related items in plain view.

A subsequent search of the vehicle allegedly turned up 54 used glassine wax folds with suspected heroin residue, 15 Xanax pills, and a glass pipe with burnt marijuana. Mount Olive NJ police also reportedly discovered drug paraphernalia that included 15 hypodermic needles and 21 unused glassine wax folds.

The 26-year-old suspect, who lives in the Long Valley section of Washington Township, New Jersey, faces charged for a number of drug offenses, including heroin possession, simple possession of marijuana, prescription drug possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

After being placed under arrest and processed, the suspect was released from police custody with a pending court date.
