Parsippany NJ police officers conducted a drug raid and arrested three people in connection with the bust.
Members of the Parsippany Police Department Special Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant a home located on Benedict Drive in Jefferson NJ at the conclusion of a major investigation. Police started the investigation last month after getting a report of drug distribution in Morris County, New Jersey.
When Parsippany cops executed the search warrant and searched the Jefferson NJ residence, they allegedly found large amounts of drugs that included three pounds of marijuana, 373 Xanax pills, and 25 Oxycodone pills. Additionally, Parsippany detectives allegedly seized more than $12,000 in cash.
The search also reportedly turned up a number of items reported as stolen during a burglary in January.
Parsippany police arrested three people after the drug raid, including two men charged with simple possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and prescription drug possession.
The third suspect faces criminal charges for burglary and possession of stolen property.
