Roxbury NJ Marijuana Distribution LawyersPolice recently shut down a major drug trafficking ring that was operating in Roxbury, NJ.

According to law enforcement, the drug trafficking operation involved the shipment of illegal narcotics, such as marijuana and Xanax, from Texas all the way to New Jersey. The shipments went through Morris County, NJ.

Authorities started to investigate the suspects after learning that they were transporting large amounts of drugs from Texas. The joint investigation into the drug trafficking ring included the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force and the Roxbury Police Department.

The raid went down at a motel located in Roxbury, NJ. During the raid, Roxbury NJ police allegedly seized 2,000 Xanax pills and 15 pounds of marijuana. According to authorities, the drugs seized in the raid have an estimated street value of approximately $90,000.

Additionally, Roxbury police seized a Land Rover and roughly $2,000 in cash.

A total of six people were placed under arrest. The suspects include two residents of Brooklyn NY and four individuals from Texas.

The suspects will probably be charged with a number of serious drug crimes, including marijuana distribution and illegal prescription drug distribution.

After the suspects were arrested and processed, they were taken to the Morris County Jail in Morristown, New Jersey. All of the suspects were being held on high bail amounts ranging all the way up to $175,000.
