Pequannock New Jersey DWI LawyersA Montvale NJ police officer pleaded guilty to Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) charges in Pequannock, New Jersey.

The suspect is a North Jersey resident who is employed as a cop with the Montvale Police Department. In June 2016, a Pequannock police officer found the suspect slumped behind the wheel of a black BMW. The motor vehicle was parked along Route 23 south in Pequannock, NJ.

Law enforcement administered a breath test to the suspect. According to Morris County prosecutors, the suspect failed the breath test and registered a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .18 percent. This was well above the legal limit of .08 percent BAC in New Jersey.

The suspect was arrested by Pequannock police and charged with a first offense DWI.

Now the suspect’s DWI charges have been resolved. He recently appeared in Morris County Superior Court in Morristown NJ and admitted to the drunk driving offense. His driver’s license has been suspended as a result of the guilty plea.
