Dover NJ Homicide LawyersDover NJ police arrested a local man who is suspected of stabbing a man to death with a kitchen knife.

The 21-year-old suspect is reportedly a restaurant cook who hails from Honduras. He allegedly committed the homicide on East Blackwell Street in Dover, New Jersey. The stabbing reportedly occurred sometime after midnight.

Authorities indicated that the suspect and the 39-year-old victim were involved in an altercation outside Xclusiv Lounge, a Dover NJ bar. The altercation allegedly resulted in the stabbing incident.

Prosecutors said that the victim was suffering from multiple stab wounds when he was found on the street. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.

The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that the incident is under investigation.

After being placed under arrest, the suspect was formally charged with murder. He also faces charges for unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

The suspect is being held at the Morris County Jail in Morris Township on $500,000 bail. Police said that he is currently on suicide watch.
