Morristown NJ Luring IncidentMorris Township police are investigating a possible luring incident at a bus stop.

A 14-year-old Morristown High School student told police that she was standing at a bus stop on Woodland Avenue and Bennington Road when a vehicle parked across the street from her. According to the student, a man got out of the passenger side of the vehicle and started to walk toward her.

The teenager, frightened, ran from the bus stop and toward her house, which was located not far from the bust stop. When she arrived home, she noticed that the man had followed her and standing on her front driveway.

The girl described the man as having short dark hair and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.

Police are investigating the incident and have asked for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Morris Township police at 973-539-0777.
