A Mount Olive man currently faces sex crime charges for allegedly prostituting two teenage girls.
The suspect is a 23-year-old resident of Mount Olive, New Jersey. He was first placed under arrested on Thanksgiving Day after one of the underage victims came forward to authorities. The victim, a 17-year-old girl, reportedly spoke with law enforcement and said that the suspect forced her to engage in prostitution. The suspect allegedly drove the teen victim to area hotels so that she could have sex with other men for money. The suspect then allegedly kept a percentage of the cash.
The suspect was arrested in November and charged with multiple sexual offenses, including human trafficking, promoting prostitution, and child endangerment.
Now the suspect faces additional charges because police discovered another possible victim. Detectives with both the Mount Olive Police Department and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Sex Crimes/Child Endangerment Unit investigated the case and reportedly found another 17-year-old victim. The suspect allegedly drove her to Mount Olive hotels and kept part of the proceeds.
After being arrested again, the suspect was taken to the Morris County Correctional Facility in Morristown, New Jersey. He was being held at the jail in lieu of $250, 000 bail.
