Mount Olive NJ Prostitution LawyersMount Olive police recently arrested a local man who allegedly prostituted an underage girl at area motels.

The victim is said to be a 17-year-old female who lives in Mount Olive, New Jersey. According to officials, the victim told law enforcement the suspect was responsible for her engaging in prostitution for over a week before Thanksgiving. The victim said that the suspect used his car to drive her to different hotels within Mount Olive, New Jersey. The victim reportedly engaged in prostitution at the hotels and the suspect allegedly got a part of the money that she received.

Detectives with the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Sex Crimes/Child Endangerment Unit started an investigation and then arrested the suspect on Thanksgiving morning.

The suspect, a 23-year-old Mount Olive man, has been charged with multiple crimes, including first degree human trafficking, first degree promoting prostitution, and third degree endangering the welfare of a child.

If the suspect is ultimately convicted on the most serious charges of human trafficking or promoting prostitution, he could potentially be sentenced to decades in NJ State Prison.

After being arrested and charged, the suspect was remanded to the Morris County Correctional Facility in Morristown, NJ. He was being held at the jail on a bail amount of $150,000.
