Roxbury NJ Prostitution ChargesA police sweep of massage parlors in New Jersey led to nine arrests, including multiple arrests in Roxbury, NJ.

Numerous law enforcement agencies collaborated in the undercover operations, which took place throughout Morris County. The agencies involved included the Roxbury Township Police Department, the Jefferson Township Police Department, the Hopatcong Police Department, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

According to law enforcement sources, nine arrests were made in the sweep. Additionally, law enforcement seized approximately $8,500 in cash during the sweep.

The individuals who were arrested hail from Randolph, NJ, Palisades Park, NJ, and Queens, NY. All of them face prostitution-related charges such as engaging in prostitution and promoting prostitution.

At this time, seven of people who were busted have been released on their own recognizance. They will have to return to local municipal courts at a later date to answer for the charges.

Two of the suspects were allegedly in the county illegally, which is why ICE got involved in the investigation. The two suspects are currently being held in custody while awaiting possible deportation.
