A New York woman was placed under arrest and charged with promoting prostitution in Madison, NJ.
The suspect, a 47-year-old resident of Flushing, NY, was in charge of Madison Body and Soul. The massage parlor is located on Waverly Place in Madison, New Jersey.
According to authorities, the suspect arranged for female workers to sell their bodies and provide sexual services in exchange for cash from customers. Moreover, the suspect allegedly used the Internet to place advertisements for prostitution services on backpage.com
The Madison Police Department got a tip about illegal activity at the massage parlor and began an investigation. Detectives went undercover and obtained evidence of prostitution. Prosecutors then filed criminal charges against the suspect and arrested her.

The suspect will have to answer the very serious sex crime charges in Madison Municipal Court. If she is ultimately convicted, she faces jail time.
