Chatham NJ Marijuana Distribution Charges NJSA 2C:35-5

Chatham police responded to the River Grille on River Road around 2 a.m. on Friday after a report that a patron had fallen and was unconscious. The 25-year-old man regained consciousness but appeared to be under the influence of drugs police said. He was found to be in possession of thirty (30) bags of marijuana as well as a small amount of PCP. The Berkeley Heights resident was transported to Morristown Memorial Hospital for treatment. He was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, being under the influence of a narcotic drug, possession of PCP and possession of drug paraphernalia.
