Pequannock New Jersey DWI LawyersA Montvale NJ police officer pleaded guilty to Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) charges in Pequannock, New Jersey.

The suspect is a North Jersey resident who is employed as a cop with the Montvale Police Department. In June 2016, a Pequannock police officer found the suspect slumped behind the wheel of a black BMW. The motor vehicle was parked along Route 23 south in Pequannock, NJ.

Law enforcement administered a breath test to the suspect. According to Morris County prosecutors, the suspect failed the breath test and registered a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .18 percent. This was well above the legal limit of .08 percent BAC in New Jersey.

The suspect was arrested by Pequannock police and charged with a first offense DWI.

Now the suspect’s DWI charges have been resolved. He recently appeared in Morris County Superior Court in Morristown NJ and admitted to the drunk driving offense. His driver’s license has been suspended as a result of the guilty plea.

Flanders NJ Driving While Intoxicated ChargesA Flanders New Jersey man who crashed his automobile on a local roadway now faces criminal charges for drug possession. Additionally, the Flanders man was cited for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI).

The suspect was allegedly driving a silver Mitsubishi and traveling on a road that passes the Overlook Apartment when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a guardrail.

When Mount Olive NJ cops, firefighters, and emergency medical crews arrived at the scene of the car accident, they found the victim trapped inside the car. Authorities used hydraulic rescue tools as they worked to remove the victim from the crushed motor vehicle.

The victim received medical treatment at the scene before being taken to Morristown Medical Center in Morristown NJ, where doctors provided additional medical treatment and stabilized his condition.

While the victim was being treated for a possible concussion at the Morristown hospital, Mount Olive NJ police officers searched his car and allegedly found a bag containing heroin. Police officers also reportedly discovered a metal pipe with heroin residue. The suspect was later arrested and charged with heroin possession.

The suspect, a 55-year-old man who lives in the Flanders section of Mount Olive NJ, was also charged with drunk driving. That’s because a blood test taken at the hospital reportedly showed that his blood alcohol content (BAC) was above the New Jersey legal limit of .08 percent.
