Two DWI Arrests Leaving Scene of Accident Chester Township NJ

On Wednesday, two Chester Township police officers pulled over a vehicle for suspected DWI on Route 206 and began conducting field sobriety tests on the driver. Meanwhile, another driver crashed into their parked police vehicle and then allegedly fled the scene and continued driving on 206. The officers caught up with him and arrested him for drunk driving as well. So, somehow, one DWI stop turned into two drunk driving arrests. The second driver was also issued tickets for reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, improper passing of an emergency vehicle, failure to stop for an emergency vehicle, and failure to signal a turn.
