Long Hill Township police are searching for man accused of robbing a local convenience store on Saturday night.
According to law enforcement, the suspect committed the armed robbery at the County Farms store on Division Avenue in the Millington section of Long Hill, New Jersey. The suspect reportedly entered the building around 8:20 p.m., walked toward a clerk, and aimed a handgun at him.
While pointing the firearm at the victim, the suspect allegedly ordered him to hand over money from the store register.
Once the suspect had an undisclosed amount of cash, he ran out of the building and fled the area on foot.
Fortunately, no one inside the store was hurt during the frightening theft incident.
Detectives with the Long Hill Township Police Department are currently investigating the armed robbery and trying to determine the identity of the culprit.

If authorities can eventually identify and apprehended the suspect, he would probably be charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
