Parsippany NJ police have arrested a man for allegedly robbing a beauty supply shop in Parsippany.
Police said that Robert Schwarz robbed the Royal Beauty Supply in Parsippany NJ. Police believe that Mr. Schwarz entered the store, pushed a store employee, and stole two (2) professional hair clippers worth roughly $420.00.
According to witnesses, the suspect fled the store and departed the area on a mountain bike.
Police were later able to identify Mr. Schwarz as the suspect by using video surveillance from a building near the beauty supply store. An arrest warrant was issued for Mr. Schwarz after he was positively identified by an eyewitness.
In NJ, robbery is governed under N.J.S.A. 2C:15-1. Robbery is classified as a second degree felony. If Mr. Schwarz is convicted of second degree robbery, he could face as many as ten (10) years in NJ State Prison.
