East Hanover NJ Robbery SuspectPolice in East Hanover NJ are attempting to determine the identity of a man who allegedly robbed a local Five Guys Burgers restaurant.

The theft crime was reported to East Hanover NJ police a short time after 10:30 p.m. Employees told police that someone entered the restaurant after closing and threatened them with a knife.

After reportedly getting an undisclosed amount of cash from a register, the suspect exited the building and fled the scene.

East Hanover police officers searched the area around the restaurant, but they reportedly could not locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a man with a heavy build. When the suspect committed the robbery, he reportedly wore a plaid shirt, a baseball cap, and a mask over at least part of his face.

The good news is that none of the Five Guys workers were injured during the robbery.

If and when law enforcement identifies and captures the suspect, he could face very serious criminal charges for armed robbery, theft, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
