Morristown Robbery AttorneysA Morristown New Jersey man has pleaded guilty to criminal charges stemming from his robbery of a Morristown bank.

The suspect is a 30-year-old man from Morristown in Morris County, NJ. He was apprehended within minutes of robbing the TD Bank on South Street in Morristown, New Jersey.

The suspect reportedly walked into the bank, handed a threatening note to a bank teller, and stole $688 in cash. The note reportedly stated that the suspect would use a weapon against the employee unless the employee gave him the money.

Morristown NJ cops arrested the suspect when he went to a nearby Walgreen’s store and tried to make a purchase with the stolen cash.

The suspect has now reached a plea deal with Morris County prosecutors and pleaded guilty to second degree robbery charges. It is expected that prosecutors will recommend that the suspect be sentenced to a term of incarceration of 3-5 years in NJ State Prison.
