Parsippany NJ law enforcement recently arrested a man accused of using a knife to threaten a female co-worker.
The suspect is a 46-year-old male resident of Brooklyn, NY. According to police officials, the suspect committed the violent criminal offense a short time after 5:00 p.m. at an office on East Halsey Road in Parsippany, New Jersey.
The suspect was employed by the business, Farmplast, until being fired and instructed by his bosses to stay away from the building. The suspect allegedly ignored the instructions and returned to the Parsippany office to confront a co-worker.
Witnesses indicated to authorities that the suspect physically assaulted a female employee by grabbing her arm and threatened to harm her with a knife. Another office worker reportedly intervened and restrained the suspect until Parsippany cops could get to the scene.
The suspect faces numerous criminal charges, including charges for terroristic threats, defiant trespass, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
After being arrested by police, the suspect was taken to a local medical facility so that he could receive medical treatment for minor injuries. He was then transported to the Morris County Correctional Facility in Morristown, NJ.
