Roxbury police is investigating a frightening motorcycle crash that resulted in a man sustaining serious injuries.

The victim is a 24-year-old man from Milford, PA. He was on his bike and riding along Mount Arlington Boulevard around 11:00 p.m. when he suddenly left the roadway and struck a sign.

Afterwards, the victim was transported via helicopter to a medical facility so that he could get treatment for his injuries.

The Roxbury Police Department and the New Jersey State Police are looking into the accident and attempting to determine whether any other vehicles might have been involved. There has not been any indication that this was a multi-vehicle accident.

Depending on the outcome of the investigation, police could make the decision to issue traffic citations in connection with the motorcycle crash.
