Morris Township Traffic AttorneysMorris County Park police officers recently arrested two individuals who reportedly eluded law enforcement after an attempted traffic stop for a traffic violation in Morris Township, NJ.

Two officers with the Morris County Park Police Department were on a drunk driving patrol along I-287 in Morris Township they reportedly observed a vehicle commit a traffic offense. The officers tried to stop the motor vehicle, but the driver allegedly hit the gas and drove away at a high rate of speed.

Morris County Park cops chased after the suspects, who reportedly headed southbound on the highway. The chase ended when the suspects were involved in an auto accident on Exit 33.

Police officers then arrested both the driver and the passenger. The driver, a 30-year-old North Plainfield man, faces criminal charges eluding police and simple possession of marijuana. He has also been cited for multiple traffic offenses, including driving while suspended and Driving While Under the Influence (DUI).

The passenger, a 29-year-old woman from Lakewood, New Jersey, was arrested and charged with illegal drug possession.
