A woman allegedly crashed her vehicle and fled the scene in Bloomingdale earlier this month and when the police found her she “did not appear to be dressed appropriately for the cold weather”. Several officers responded to the report of an accident at 4:17 a.m., according to the Bloomingdale news release which was titled “DWI & Injured naked female”. The 48-year-old woman told police she was waiting for a friend but they found skid marks not far from her location. According to the NJ.com article, “[p]olice found a vehicle had left the roadway, struck a guard rail and crashed through a fence before ending up in a small ravine near the entrance to Star Lake Camp, he said.” Police said she shows signs of intoxication and was brought to the station for processing and to provide a breath sample. The defendant was charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), failure to report an accident, leaving the scene of an accident, and careless driving.
