Chatham Township Weapons Offense LawyersPolice officers recently arrested a man who allegedly used a rifle to fire a gunshot into an empty vehicle parked in Chatham Township, New Jersey.

The suspect allegedly committed the crime around 2:30 a.m. The suspect reportedly lost control of his vehicle, a limousine, and crashed the limo into a curb in Chatham, NJ. The suspect then allegedly used a rifle to fire a gunshot.

The bullet reportedly hit a car parked in the driveway of a home located on Susan Drive in Chatham Township, NJ.

The suspect, a 69-year-old resident of Chatham Township, used to be a doctor in the Ukraine and currently operates a limousine company in New Jersey.

The suspect has now been charged with multiple weapons offenses, including unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a loaded rifle for an unlawful purpose.

The suspect also faces charges for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) because police said that he was heavily intoxicated at the time of the arrest.

Detectives with the Chatham Township Police Department are actively investigating the alleged shooting incident.
