Wantage NJ Terroristic Threats AttorneysPolice arrested a Wantage New Jersey man accused of driving around his neighborhood and threatening to kill multiple people.

NJ State Police got several reports from people who claimed that the 62-year-old suspect was driving around Wantage NJ and threatening to harm them. According to the callers, the suspect was in possession of a handgun.

Coincidentally, police officers were also called to the suspect’s residence on a medical emergency. When the suspect showed up at his home on Sussex Road in Wantage, he saw state troopers. Police were dispatched to the home after receiving a call about a woman suffering a stroke.

Officials believe that the woman who was in need of medical assistance may be the suspect’s wife. Authorities have yet to release any information about her condition after receiving medical treatment.

During a subsequent search of the suspect’s vehicle, police did not find any weapons. However, police later searched the suspect’s home and allegedly found several weapons, including an unregistered rifle.

The suspect has been charged with terroristic threats and unlawful possession of a weapon.

After being arrested and charged, the suspect was transported to the Sussex County Jail. He was being held at the correctional facility on a $50,000 bail amount.
